I can't say for certain, but I'm desperately hoping that it's just the "pregnancy emotions" getting the best of me...otherwise I would have to admit that the season premiere of The Biggest Loser made me teary eyed....like 7 times!

A day in the life...
A day in the life of me...that's right, because my life is that exciting. The following is my Sunday (well so far)
-Wake up
-Eat Breakfast
-Get Ready
-Go to church (5 mins late as usual...what will I do when I have to get a baby ready too??)
-Come home
-Eat lunch (Cafe Rio leftovers! yum)
-Lay down for a SHORT nap
-Wake up FOUR AND A HALF HOURS later!
Four and a half hours are you kidding me?? Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I woke up at 6 this morning and COULD NOT fall back asleep. Or the fact that this baby is sucking up every ounce of my energy. Hmmm, could be, but four and a half hours?? Really? Maybe this is why I don't take a lot of naps, they would consume my life. I told Taylor that I only slept for 2 hours, and the rest of the time it was the baby's nap...that's logical, right? *Side note: Baby (who is still nameless by the way) will be here in 5 weeks! * While it seems crazy that I was able to sleep for so long, I won't lie to you, it felt so good! Oh Sunday afternoon naps, how I love you.

Confession....
As the title of the post may have implied, I have a confession to make...I am addicted to spider solitaire. It's true, if there were a spider solitaire anonymous group well then Taylor would probably make me go. (I think he's secretly annoyed with this new habit of mine, but is too nice to complain or say anything about it) There's just something about those fireworks going off when you win...ahhh satisfaction. Don't judge me though, turns out it's not a complete waste of time. I recently happened across an article online on ways to keep your brain from going mushy...the picture that accompanied the article...someone playing spider solitaire!!! (second confession...I didn't even read the article, the picture confirmed all I needed to know)
Don't know why, but I often go through phases of game addictions. These phases vary in length and intensity, but always involve quite a bit of wasted time. Just for fun, lets reminisce...
1) Minesweeper- Nothing better than seeing that little face turn into a smile!
2) Text Twist- Carly, I always think of you!
3) Yahtzee- "Aspire higher, go for the yahtzee!"
4) Farckle- "I'll farckle that"
5) Power Scrabble-I am the master!!
6) Rummikub - Taylor always wins, but I still love it.
7) California Speed- You can challenge me if you want, but I will destroy you! :)
8) Sequence- "da dun duh dun dun dun dun" (The noise taylor makes when he gets a sequence)
9) Mexican Train - choo choo! Nothing like a mexican train.
And going way way back...
10) Monopoly Junior!- Liz is the only other person who would understand this one...good times.
I love to reminisce! Now if you will excuse me, I must a) eat some tums and b) play a game (or ten) of spider solitaire..I crave it!

In honor of two girls I know...
This post is purely for the sanity of two certain friends of mine...you know who you are! Just wanted to update the blog so that your day was a little bit brighter. And to increase that brightness, here is your new joke for the day.... How do you know if a moth is a boy or girl??? Just check for the moth balls! Hahaha. (Sorry if anyone finds this inappropriate) Have a lovely day!

6 things you must know about the past 6 months...
1. A child began taking form in my belly. That's right, I am indeed pregnant with a baby boy who is due Oct. 12th. No, we haven't picked a name, nor are we close to a decision...any suggestions?? (Seriously...help us.)
This is our little fart at 18 weeks when we found out he was a boy.
19 weeks in this picture. Just the beginnings of a baby belly.
2. We celebrated our 1 year anniversary. Now on to the next million...
3.We moved...about 100 feet away from our old house. Except now instead of a one bedroom basement apartment, we are in a 2 bedroom 2nd story apartment...woohoo for moving up in the world.
4. Taylor and I both got pulled over for the first time ever, about a month apart from each other. The unfortunate thing...I was first, which means Taylor won that bet...ah nuts. (No tickets though...thank goodness.)
5. We spent a fabulous week in Oceanside California with Taylor's family. The week included Sea World, San Diego Zoo, and beach time. It was a much needed break and we loved hanging out with the Blanco crew.
Yup, typical Blancos. 23 weeks pregnant in this picture... My what a difference 4 weeks makes.
6. I updated my blog!!! :)
